King Family Maternity

This little family is growing right before our eyes! (And cameras!) Brooke and Ryan (And big sister Chloe!) are expecting their second little girl, Anna Kate, in July!

I love sweet kisses for mamas!

Chloe is a hat lover so we had to include her favorite hat in the shoot!

Aren’t those little eye lashes the sweetest!?

Kisses for Anna Kate too! :) Can’t wait for this little girl to arrive! She will be so loved!

H+D Creative Booth at The Saturday Market – Thomson

Guys! We are so excited to finally share with you what we have been working on!

You may have noticed the recent name change from H+D Photography to H+D Creative over the past few weeks.

We have changed it to include our newest venture, opening a booth at a local antique/thrift store in Thomson Ga!

If you know us personally, you know that it’s pretty hard for me (Haley) to pass an antique junk store without stopping. In fact, I’ve been known to change the route to and from vacation to hit the best stores. Or stop by the road for that perfect piece that someone thought was trash! It’s always been quite the annoyance to everyone around me, but my love for old junk runs deep.

The Saturday Market in Thomson Ga (925 Augusta Rd. Thomson GA) is the cutest little place offering several different vendors with really unique little booths!

You will meet the sweetest shop owner, Lucy, who will help you find whatever you may or may not be looking for! :)

Here’s just a sampling of our little booth! We are so excited and can’t wait to add a ton more junk to the mix!

It has felt really good to put that Art degree to good use making handmade and painted signs and art prints!

It was tough for me to part with a few of these items because they took so much work to make and collect!

Each of these little prints are sturdy enough to send as postcards! They would make a cute little gift!

We have included a few “Designs by Rosie” pieces in the shop too! (That’s my mom!) She’s the original artist in our family!

She has been painting these little burp cloths for newborn babies for as long as I can remember – so naturally, this cuteness needed to be included in the booth!

Here it is from another angle!

We would love for you to come out and visit our little space!

The Saturday Market is located at 925 Augusta Rd in Thomson GA is open THURSDAYS from 10-6pm, FRIDAYS 10-6pm and SATURDAY 10-4pm!

Thanks so much for your support as we expand our little business to include this love project!

brooke + jason | happily ever after

Brooke and Jason were married a few weekends ago with the beautiful spring backdrop of the Old Medical College here in Augusta. These two sweethearts were so excited to start their life together and we were so thrilled to be there to photograph their love!

It’s always a goal of mine to get an up-close portrait of our bride. There is something so beautiful about a girl about to get married – maybe it’s excitement or maybe it’s the overflow of love but it’s a favorite!

Wein_003Wein_004Wein_005Wein_006We heard whispers of rain all day long but ultimately the rain held off until the reception!

It was a perfectly cloudy and beautiful day!

Brooke’s girls were old pros at being in weddings! I guess that’s what happens when you have this many girl friends! :)

I love a good photo of mom with her baby boy. :) It’s always such a sweet moment for the mom of boys!

Wein_013Sisters are a close second! ;)

Jason’s friends were equal parts ridiculous and hilarious!  They made taking photos a breeze. Despite the crazy poses every so often.

All the tears started flowing long before this moment of walking in with her Dad…

Jason’s face when he saw Brooke was so sweet. He was so excited and ready to be married to his girl.

Finally Mr and Mrs!

The reception details were complete with Brooke and Jason’s beloved dog Turner gracing the top of the Groom cake!

These guys lifting Brooke and Jason up in these chairs were hilarious! Nobody realizes how hard it is to hang on when you are being thrown around like that!

Beverly (wedding planning extraordinaire!) was able to get the sparklers going (even in the rain) and their friends were troopers! They stood in puddles of pollen water and failing rain all for Brooke and Jason to get this perfect leave shot!

Mary Friday - These pictures are AMAZING!

arianna + abe | married

Arianna and Abe are freshly home from their honeymoon so it’s sneak peek time! :)

These two are sugary sweet and made our job very easy when it came to taking their photographs together! Their love for each other just spills over!

I really wanted to photograph Ari in the tunnel at the Brick Pond because 1) she’s up for anything and 2) she’s a little sassy and I thought it would be perfect! :)

Plus she is so stinking pretty we could put her anywhere and she would be radiant right?!

See! I told you!

Ari’s niece was a little character and couldn’t wait to take pictures with her aunt as princesses…

It was a really sweet few minutes of them just talking…

These girls were excellent bridesmaids for Ari. They were super supportive and all about making everything go smoothly for their girl!

Had to throw a shot in for Mama so she could be a part of the sneak peek action after all her hard work! :)

Now Abe was, first of all, easy on the eyes ;) and secondly, we could tell he was a good friend to all his groomsmen.

They really rallied for him to have a great day and were true friends for sticking it out through all the photos ;)!

When Ari came around the corner to see Abe, I loved her little smirk. She was so happy and excited to marry him and it really showed.

(Side note: if you are gonna get married ya’ll – please be head over heals for your fiancé, k? k! It makes life and your photography go easy! Good talk!)

Since Abe and Arianna are moving to Charleston (where he is from!) after the wedding, we had to have a little Charleston feel for their portraits.

We absolutely LOVE the way that Ari and Abe laugh. They are throw your head back and enjoy life kind of people! (We have so many pictures of them like this!)

This shot was when they got to the dance floor after being introduced as Mr and Mrs at the reception! So much happiness!

Starting your marriage with it’s foundation on the Bible is a beautiful thing… (And makes for a beautiful ring shot too! Bonus!)

Abe’s father was from Liberia so they changed into traditional garb for part of the reception! It was so unique and perfect for them!

We are so thankful for clients like Ari and Abe and can’t wait to show them all the images!
