arianna + abe | married

Arianna and Abe are freshly home from their honeymoon so it’s sneak peek time! :)

These two are sugary sweet and made our job very easy when it came to taking their photographs together! Their love for each other just spills over!

I really wanted to photograph Ari in the tunnel at the Brick Pond because 1) she’s up for anything and 2) she’s a little sassy and I thought it would be perfect! :)

Plus she is so stinking pretty we could put her anywhere and she would be radiant right?!

See! I told you!

Ari’s niece was a little character and couldn’t wait to take pictures with her aunt as princesses…

It was a really sweet few minutes of them just talking…

These girls were excellent bridesmaids for Ari. They were super supportive and all about making everything go smoothly for their girl!

Had to throw a shot in for Mama so she could be a part of the sneak peek action after all her hard work! :)

Now Abe was, first of all, easy on the eyes ;) and secondly, we could tell he was a good friend to all his groomsmen.

They really rallied for him to have a great day and were true friends for sticking it out through all the photos ;)!

When Ari came around the corner to see Abe, I loved her little smirk. She was so happy and excited to marry him and it really showed.

(Side note: if you are gonna get married ya’ll – please be head over heals for your fiancé, k? k! It makes life and your photography go easy! Good talk!)

Since Abe and Arianna are moving to Charleston (where he is from!) after the wedding, we had to have a little Charleston feel for their portraits.

We absolutely LOVE the way that Ari and Abe laugh. They are throw your head back and enjoy life kind of people! (We have so many pictures of them like this!)

This shot was when they got to the dance floor after being introduced as Mr and Mrs at the reception! So much happiness!

Starting your marriage with it’s foundation on the Bible is a beautiful thing… (And makes for a beautiful ring shot too! Bonus!)

Abe’s father was from Liberia so they changed into traditional garb for part of the reception! It was so unique and perfect for them!

We are so thankful for clients like Ari and Abe and can’t wait to show them all the images!

leslie + robert | happily ever after

Despite the rainiest of the rainy days, Leslie and Robert officially tied the knot! They were both such troopers with standing in the rain and making the most of getting pictures together! We are so so happy for them to finally be Mr + Mrs! :)

Twigs Tempietto provided the perfect haven from the rain! Such a beautiful venue out in Greenville, SC!

The beautiful bride…

These two have such a chemistry  - they make each other laugh instantly and show affection with ease… They are a dream to photograph together…

Leslie’s bridesmaids were a hoot. They each had their own personalities as friends and made a great group of girls for the day!

I can’t help myself sharing this umbrella pictures! They are my favorites!

Aren’t the lights through those vines just amazing?! Such a perfect backdrop for the vows…

I can’t be sure – but I’m pretty sure this was right before they realized he had forgotten the rings! Eeeek! Thankfully, she was wearing a ring that he had given her in high school that perfectly stood in for the wedding band! :)

I love how these friends were so comfortable together – no worries about bridezillas or being perfect – just having a good time together!

EpBlog_019EpBlog_020EpBlog_021Robert’s mom was a dream mother of the groom! She enjoyed herself and just basked in the day for her boy! (Leslie’s mom was AMAZING as well! Just for the record! ;))

We had to take advantage of the rain and the falling leaves with the ring shot! It was a must!

EpBlog_024EpBlog_025 Leaving the reception as husband and wife! Such a fun day and a perfect beginning to the Epsey story! :)

ansley + trent | engaged

We are so so excited for Ansley and Trent to be FINALLY the ones who are getting hitched! (Ansley and I were both really involved with 4-H growing up so we have known each other for a long, long time!) Ansley has also been a bridesmaid in several of our weddings over the years and we couldn’t be happier that she found love with Trent! They have a really sweet relationship and we can not wait for their wedding day to be here!

Trent loves Ansley, but he also loves his cars. I hope he was really happy with how we were able to showcase them in our shoot!

Country roads and hometown love… the best…

We just had to show that rock a few times… I mean – look at that thing…

Trent carved their initials in a tree in their backyard for our shoot… (All the ladies gave an audible “Awww”!)

And for you guys, he did it with a chain saw. So it’s still pretty manly…

We have so many more to share but we will save those for her save the dates! :)

mickey + katie | married

This couple. Seriously, the best.

Katie and Mickey were so fun, relaxed, and so excited to be getting married! Just like we like ‘em! :)

Her mom handmade her viel for the wedding! Epic right?! So beautiful! Thankfully, she has two sisters who can also enjoy that amazing-ness if they want!

In our very first Skype meeting with M+K (since they live so far away!), we knew that their wedding was gonna be a blast. They have such a genuine, sweet way about them that you can’t help but instantly like them (separately and as a couple!). Not to mention, they look really good together…

Katie’s smile is just awesome. I love how she laughs so completely and I couldn’t help but love this moment when she and Mickey were having their first look.

Her ladies…

His guys…

…and the siblings. Need we say more?

Every couple needs a jump shot at their wedding right?! I still love them!

Suspenders, kisses and nutty friends in the back ground… pretty perfect!

We loved this moment as they were exiting the church as man and wife! So much anxiety being lifted from them and the biggest smiles ever!

Katie and her dad did the “whip” and they even “nae nae”-ed ya’ll. It was seriously fun and hilarious.

The cutest little flower girl that ever was and her mama had to have a photo op!

We aren’t gonna lie – a wedding mid-August – was a hot one. We laughed so so hard as people realized that the vents for Old MCG are on the floor!

Grandma’s response was the best of the best…

Katie’s brother and his lady rocked it out on the dance floor!

I’m supposed to mention that since he cut his hair for the wedding that he was awarded the “Best Hair” award by his fellow groomsman…

I was paid to write that.

The bridesmaids fought it out over that bouquet!

Congrats again to Katie and Mickey as they start their life together as hubby and wife! We are so thrilled to have been part of your day!
